Little did I realize how unappetizing my salad would be when mid morning the muffins and donuts arrived. Fortunately I had my apple and yogurt with me so I had that, but then around noon just as an email popped up that said that Pizza had arrived, you could smell it. Warm, ooey goey pizza! It smelled so good but I didn't have room in my points for pizza today, so I didn't even want to be tempted even a little bit, because for me, one piece turns into two. There is no two ways about it. I had to resist the pizza!

SO my solution to resisting the pizza, I went for a walk. I put on my running shoes, grabbed my phone and headed out to walk around Charleston Park which is just down the street from where I work. So instead of looking at and smelling pizza, I saw this:

Marina at False Creek
Not sure why these three colored eggs have shown up but ok.
When I headed home for the day, the office still smelled of pizza but I was proud of myself for resisting. I picked up my friend that I car pool to work with and headed home. An hour and a bit later I dropped her off and headed to the gym for my run.
The Treadmills were all in use so I used a machine that simulates running with stairs. I'm not sure what it's called, but I did get in my 5K run. It wasn't easy, my legs were certainly burning by the time I was done but I did it!
Wahoo 5K done in a respectable 45 minutes
Run after glow! I suck at taking selfies!
I did great with my food choices and my activity today. I'm really proud of how well I did in resisting temptation.
